Installation Guide
SankhyaBook 365 is available directly from the Microsoft SharePoint Store, or by manually downloading and deploying the package. Follow these steps to install and deploy the application to your SharePoint environment.
Download Package
You can download the package from the following link: SankhyaBook 365 Package
Prerequisites
- You must have SharePoint Administrator or Site Collection Administrator permissions.
- An App Catalog must be configured for your tenant (for organization-wide availability).
Step 1: Access the SharePoint Store
- Navigate to the SharePoint site where you want to add the application.
- Click on the Settings (gear icon) in the top right corner.
- Select Add an app.
- On the generic "My Apps" page, look for the SharePoint Store link in the left sidebar (Classic view) or search bar context.
- Alternatively, navigate directly to your Tenant App Catalog and select "SharePoint Store".
Step 2: Install SankhyaBook 365
- In the search bar of the SharePoint Store, type "SankhyaBook 365".
- Click on the SankhyaBook 365 application card to view details.
- Click the Add to Apps button.
Step 3: Deployment & Permissions
- A dialog will appear asking to confirm adding the app.
- Review the data access requirements.
- Enable for all sites: You may verify the option to "Enable this app and add it to all sites" if you want it globally available without individual site installation.
- Click Enable app.
Note: If you are a Site Collection Administrator but not a Tenant Admin, you may see a "Request" button instead. This will send a request to your IT Administrators to approve the app.
Step 4: Add to a Specific Site
If you did not choose to add the app to all sites automatically:
- Go to the Site Contents of your target site.
- Click New > App.
- Under From Your Organization, find SankhyaBook 365.
- Click the icon to add it to your site.
Step 5: Verify Installation
Once added, SankhyaBook 365 will appear in your site's Site Contents.
- Click on the app to launch it.
- You can now add the SankhyaBook 365 web part to any modern SharePoint page by editing the page and searching for the web part.
